After the surface relieving, purifying and Qi and Blood tonifying herbs from the first module, we will move on to tonify. Yin and Yang tonics will be discussed, after which we will cover the causes and treatment of stagnations. Herbs and formulas that clear Qi, Blood and food stagnation will be discussed. All this placed within the framework of Zhang Zhong Jing’s texts: the Shang Han Lun and the Jin Gui Yao Lue.
