Privacy policy & conditions

Oxrider Academy provides training, refresher courses in the field of Chinese medicine and systems theory in biology and medicine. In this way we bridge the gap between Western reductionism and the Chinese systemic paradigm.

REGISTRATION

  • Registration for a course can only be done via our website.
  • Each course describes the content of the course, the location, the language of the course, the price and what is included in that price, what prior knowledge is required and what the state of play is with regard to application for/obtaining accreditations.
  • Oxrider Academy is not liable for not obtaining accreditation if a trade union has not yet granted accreditation at the moment a member of a trade union registers for a course. For each course we always indicate the current status of obtaining accreditations on our website.
  • As long as there is a block with ‘Register’ under a course description, you can register for the relevant course.
  • By submitting the registration form, you agree to the following cancellation conditions.
  • Payment can only be made via Ideal payment.
  • As soon as we have received your registration form and payment, your registration for the course is official and you will be added to the attendance list of the course.
  • Should you be unable to take part in a course or training for financial reasons, Oxrider Academy is always willing to work with you to come up with an appropriate personal payment solution. To do so, please contact info@oxrideracademy.nl.
  • Within 10 working days you will receive a confirmation and invoice by e-mail.
  • Oxrider Academy makes sure that at the end of the course day the students have the opportunity to sign a presentation list. This presentation list will be kept by Oxrider Academy for 10 years and will be sent to the trade unions on request as proof of your participation.
  • Participants will receive a digital participation certificate within 7 days after the end of a course.

Privacy

  • All information provided by participants in Oxrider Academy is confidential for Oxrider Academy, its staff members and teachers.
  • Email addresses (e.g. of people who want to receive Oxrider Academy’s mailing) will under no circumstances be provided to third parties.
  • We will always first ask for permission to provide personal data to third parties, e.g. if students are looking for someone they can ride with or if students are looking for name and address details of someone they met on a course.
  • With regard to business-sensitive information on business situations, work processes, client groups and strategies, Oxrider Academy employees, its (guest) teachers and companies/organisations with which Oxrider Academy enters into a partnership in any way, are under a complete confidentiality obligation.

Cancellation conditions

  • The statutory cooling-off period is 14 days from the date of registration.
  • If the course starts within 14 days after registration, you agree to waive the cooling-off period.
  • Cancellations can only be made in writing by letter or e-mail.
  • Cancellation is free of charge up to 4 weeks (=28 days) before the start of the course date.
  • If you cancel 4 to 2 weeks (=28 to 14 days) before the course date, you will owe 50% of the course fee.
  • If you cancel within 2 weeks (=14 days) before the start of the course date or after the training has started you will owe 100% of the course fee.
  • You may send a replacement if you are unable to attend. In that case please send the name of the replacement to Oxrider Academy by email. You remain responsible for the amount of the course fee.
  • For multi-day courses you will owe the full course fee, even if you are unable to attend all course days.
  • This also applies if you have chosen to pay in instalments.
  • Oxrider Academy reserves the right to cancel a course if there are insufficient registrations. We will inform students who have already registered in time that there is a chance that we will have to do so. The final decision will be communicated no later than 7 days before the start of the course.
  • Should Oxrider Academy be forced to cancel a course, you will receive a refund of the paid course fee within 5 working days. Cancellations are indicated on the website. Participants will also be informed by e-mail.
  • A cancellation is only effective after it has been confirmed by Oxrider Academy by email with the corresponding credit invoice. If you have not received this cancellation confirmation from us within 10 days after sending your cancellation email, please contact us.
